Thanks for the heads up, and everyone on this list needs to know that the
landfill industry, especially WMI, has been working to overturn state yard
waste bans for over three years now. A small coalition of people along with
GRRN have been fighting them, and winning, in Indiana, Illinois, and
Nebraska. But we just lost in Missouri, and the first state yard waste was
overturned in the last few months. And now Michigan...
This is a result of the crazy scramble for "renewable energy" and the
hoodwinking that the the waste industry has pulled regarding landfill gas.
Help fight this whenever you can. Reaching out to a state Governor usually
helps.
