There is an active market for all post-consumer plastics, not just nos. 1 and 2. The economics don't work as well as for the others, which probably accounts for their inclusion in fewer programs nationwide. There are now end-users stateside for all numbers, which was a big bug in the system several years back with the lesser valued plastics going overseas. BRING started collecting numbers 1-7 in Eugene in the late 1980s.
