RPC’s Board of Directors is pleased to invite you to attend the


DATE: Monday, October 28, 2002

LOCATION: The R.R. Donnelley offices, 77 West Wacker Drive (corner of Clark
and West Wacker), Chicago, Illinois.  The meeting will be held in the
Americas Room on the 19th floor.

TIME: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

FEE: None!

Environmental managers, purchasing agents, facilities managers, and other
interested parties are invited to join the RPC Board and member
organizations for a morning of stimulating discussion about factors
influencing the recycled paper market and effective strategies for
environmental purchasing and education.

–Panel: overview on recycling issues, including single-stream collection –
Howard Learner, Environmental Law & Policy Center; Mike Finn, Recycling
Services; N. Marcia Jimenez, City of Chicago Department of the Environment.

--Mark Conti, Domtar, and Debbie Cohen, Forest Stewardship Council, on
developments regarding Forest Stewardship Council certified papers.

--Baxter Healthcare, Recycled Paper Coalition member, on their purchasing
policy and commitment to environmental papers.

--Carl Gagliardi, International Paper, on the current economics of the
recycled paper market.

--Darby Hoover, Recycled Paper Coalition, on the RPC’s recent achievements
and 2001 Annual Report.
