[GreenYes] Design for Recycling in residential high rise buildings

Hello: Chapel Hill NC's first 'green' residential high rise (ten stories
~ 100 units and 200 underground parking spots, as designed by W.
McDonough, et al is going up on a very compact site beginning next year.
We have not yet resolved the design issues surrounding provision of
recycling services and seek input on that from those who have dealt with
this successfully. Most apartments here are garden apts two and three
stories w/ arrays of roll carts adjoining dumpsters outdoors. Needless
to say, this is likely to be a very high end clientele and it is
unlikely that everyone will be willing to ride down an elevator with his
own trash and recycling into the bowels of the parking structure to
deposit it - but they might..........thanks
