RE: [greenyes] Recovery of child restraint seats

Good day John and all,

There is a company in New York that recovers hard plastics. I don't know
anything about the company, but you may want to check them out:

General Materials Recovery, LLC

Subject: [greenyes] Recovery of child restraint seats

Does anyone have a suggestion for the reuse or recovery of automotive child
restraint seats?

I got a call yesterday from a woman who said that these seats now have a
five year expiration label (the one she has expires at the end of this year)
and that Goodwill would not take hers because of the liability.

Thanks much,

John Reindl, Recycling Manager
Dane County, WI
