[greenyes] Ozone Purifiers & Indoor Air Pollution


Eileen,
Those machines do exactly what they say they do ? produce ozone. Not the
sort of thing you want to go putting into your house! In fact some of them
will raise the indoor air pollution levels to those similar to congested
city streets. I know some people swear by them, but they're not worth it.
There are a lot of better options.

Have you looked into a good HEPA filter for the HVAC unit? You might talk to
an allergist, too, to see what they recommend. If nothing else, you're
better off with some good houseplants than you are with the ozone
machines...
