Hi Peter,

Good letter about the impacts of disposal versus recycling.  While attacks on recycling seem to be increasing around the country, it also presents an opportunity to talk more about the real benefits of recycling in terms of the environmental footprint, job and business creation, and creating sustainable communities.

GRRN and ILSR have done some great work in the past 2 to 3 years.  The BEAR report provides important new information -- once you get past the NSDA attacks.

All of us who support recycling new to take time to communicate with major media, whether it is the Wall Street Journal or New York Times.
