Hows this for food for thought....
       We simply need to stop making roads of what ever the material and the faster we burn up our natural resources (oil) the sooner we are forced to be more sustainable.   Its too bad that we humans have to learn the hard way and do the right thing after its too late and used up everything instead of doing the right thing from the start.
