Ramping up pressure on Pepsi is a priority now, as Peter Andersen suggests.

Both Coke and Pepsi are the focus of shareholder resolutions on recycling.  
Coke's annual meeting is April 18 and Pepsi's is May 2.  Together these 
companies had 75 percent of the U.S. market in 1999.

Letters to the CEO's of each company are needed prior to the meetings.  
Please fax a copy on your letterhead to GRRN at (706) 613-7123.

These letters will be carried to the shareholder meetings and given to media 
before hand.  So even if you have been supporting GRRN efforts for some time, 
please send a letter explaining why you support the shareholder resolutions.
