[GreenYes] Recycling for Housing Authority Customers

Hello All -

Do any of you have experience offering recycling services to low-income 
housheolds in your communities? Everyone I have talked to here are very 
hesitant to start offering these services. "Because collecting garbage is 
difficult enough", "educating the residents is impossible", etc., etc. I 
personally think it's possible if handled the right way perhaps at the 
grassroots level and with a lot of outreach....but I have no examples of 
successful programs targeting low-income housing populations. 

HELP? Anyone?  Budget info for outreach would be appreciated if you have 
it!!
