I keep seeing notices of events that sound really interesting & useful, 
but are only being offered in Sacramento.  Speaking for myself, Long Beach 
has had a travel ban in place for years, so there is zero chance that I 
can attend a workshop that is more than about 2 hours drive from here.  I 
know that the Waste Board is under budget pressure, but so are all of us 
cities.  It would be nice to be able to take advantage of all this 
expertise, but most of the time it's just not possible.
