[GreenYes] Advisory Committee

The local government jurisdiction for which I work has been directed to establish a permanent solid waste *advisory* committee.  I am responsible for drafting some organizational guidelines for this committee.  I would appreciate any input from other jurisdictions that have similar committees regarding how the committee is structured, its mission, by-laws/charter, how/by whom members are appointed, relationship to other government orgs., etc.
