[GreenYes] Christmas waste data

Can anyone refer me to good sources for information on how much waste is
generated at Christmas for US/worldwide for cards, wrapping, discarded
trees etc.   UPI is interested in the info for an article to put on the
wire (great for public ed) but I think many of us can use that info in
our own advocacy work.   Thanks.
