[GreenYes] researching Mercedes Benz "Disassembly" factories
- Subject: [GreenYes] researching Mercedes Benz "Disassembly" factories

Greetings all,
Can anyone help me in researching what exactly they did in Germany in
response to the EPR laws on cars ... I've heard stories about auto
"disassembly" factories, and even that some car redesign occurred ...
has all this been documented anywhere?

Subject: RE: [GreenYes] Best Buy Collection Results Available On-Line
Chris: I notice that the Phase I results don't indicate what was/will be
the final disposition of the materials collected -- that is, how much
was recycled, by whom, versus how much was landfilled, and where, or how
much was destined for overseas markets. Do you plan to collect,
independently verify, and release this information later in Phase I or
in Phase II?
Information about final disposition of collected materials is obviously
vital to assessing the programs. Thanks for sharing the information so
far.
