Nebraska. The Unicameral weakened the yard waste landfill
ban: "One exception to this restriction is when the yard waste is placed in a
permitted landfill and used as part of a system to produce methane as a fuel
source. The system must include an active landfill gas collection system and a
legitimate user of the methane fuel."
This is insane. In a world where the ice caps are melting because of to
much carbon and the soil is becoming less productive due to the lack of
carbon the legislature from the agricultural state of Nebraska acts
against nature and the planet. Where are our
lawyers?
