(I'm posting this on behalf of a colleague at DEQ.)
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has recently adopted a Waste Prevention Strategy. The department is hiring for a new position that has been created that will lead the green building component of the Waste Prevention Strategy, which focuses on waste prevention and material selection. The position will also provide analytical support to other elements of the Waste Prevention Strategy. Here's the posting: http://www.deq.state.or.us/msd/hr/jobs/le080031.htm.
A second job - that will work part-time on research and outreach support for the Strategy (and part-time on HHW prevention, not part of the Strategy) - will be posted within the next few weeks at www.deq.state.or.us/msd/hr/jobs.asp.
Thanks.
