[GreenYes] Zero Waste Business Conference: Affordable Price & Practical Information


GRRN is sponsoring the Earth Resource Foundation's Zero Waste Business Conference on November 15, 2006. We encourage you to attend. This one-day event will showcase successful Zero Waste Businesses by demonstrating how they save money by implementing Zero Waste practices in their daily operations and demonstrate practical examples of how to turn a company's waste stream into a profitable resource. Emphasis--as always-- is on waste prevention, increased efficiency, and working upstream to eliminate waste.

The conference features excellent keynote speakers:

** Gunter Pauli, Founder of ZERI (Zero Emission Research & Initiatives www.zeri.org) is leading an afternoon workshop. Mr. Pauli will engage us on applying ZERI's natural and scientific principles to discover "hidden assets" and "identify clusters of business opportunities."

** Leonard Robinson, recent appointee by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as Deputy Chief Director of the CA Dept. of Toxics Control. Mr. Robinson will speak about "How Zero Waste Businesses Reduce Toxics and Risks."

** In addition, numerous business leaders will share with you how they implemented Zero Waste in their company and the benefits they've accrued by doing so.

A: Businesses can learn the benefits of Zero Waste. Government, economic development & recycling professionals who are interested in learning more about environmental economics and networking with Zero Waste leaders.
