[GreenYes] Re: Recycling Business Case Analysis

Hi Greg,

When we develop a plan for waste reduction for a particular business, we
begin with a full waste analysis and examine economic impacts of process
modification, alternative waste management methods, waste reduction and
recycling. We also assist with commodity marketing by providing a recycling
markets directory and free waste exchange platforms &

Basically, we deal with "waste vs recycling" on a case-by-case basis since
each situation is varied due to location and market availability, however,
there are some "best practices" that can be economically viable across the
board for businesses that are interested in recycling and waste reduction.

NC DPPEA provides no-cost, non-regulatory waste reduction assistance to
North Carolina businesses.

I have posted a PowerPoint presentation for you that lays out the basics of
how we do a business waste analysis at:

Subject: [GreenYes] Recycling Business Case Analysis

Has anyone made the business case for recycling versus waste disposal?
I need to develop a plan that addresses facilities, equipment and services,
record keeping and auditing, market analyses, economic analysis of
alternatives, and a financial plan.

Examples of this type of analysis would be useful.
