Did you all get the news, the new choice for Secretary of Interior, to
replace Gail Norton, named today by Pres. Bush is Idaho Gov. Dirk
Kempthorne; Bush announced this in the last hour.  Kempthorne's record is
not exactly bright green.  Or even pale green..  This will require Senate
confirmation.  Former Sen. Kempthorne was first elected Governor in 1998.

More thorny days ahead for our federal lands...
