In 2003, I attended the annual conference of the Illinois Recycling Association (IRA). That particular year IRA and the Missouri Recycling Association held a join conference in St. Louis. One of the speakers was Dr. Steven(I think) Kline. His topic was the Missouri Botanical Garden's annual flower pot recycling event. The information below is taken off the Garden's web site. Hope this helps. The link has lots of information about this project. May 20-21, 27-28; June 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, 24-25, 2006 Plastic garden pot recycling. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monsanto Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden, west parking lot, 4500 Shaw Blvd. at Vandeventer. Drop off clean plastic garden pots and trays and receive a complimentary admission pass for two to the Garden. I run a community garden and we go through lots every year. >I realize that this listserve is regrouping and there may be very few >who will see this, but I'll take my chances.
