Re: [greenyes] Michele Raymond passes away after battle with cancer

Michele Raymond was not only a real character with a lot of personal flair, but I credit her hugely as the "midwife" of EPR in North America. By targeting the market she did (product brand-owners) and giving them a wake-up call that EPR is coming and helping them prepare for it, Michele moved things forward in ways that those of us on the outside could not have done. She was such a hard worker and left a great legacy.

Helen.

I just received this note from Raymond Communications.

I never met Michele, but we had talked quite a bit by phone. I knew of her
fight with cancer, but had thought that she was winning it.

I will miss her greatly.
