Hello -- I reuse my water bottle and I CARE. I've also just written a
Letter from the Editor in our newsletter about this very issue. I may resort
to a glass bottle.

I too am concerned about this issue and I am surprised how little response
this generates on the GreenYes list serve.
This seems like it could be a significant public health issue. How many
people reuse plastic water bottles?
We're talking about phthalates leaching out of water bottles. Phthalates
are a major reproductive toxin.
If it leaches on repeated use, has anyone tested if it leaches after sitting
in a hot warehouse for a year?
Why does it seem that no one cares about this?

This article ran a while ago, had good info about the subject of reusing
water bottles. It made some of us rethink how long we want to hold on
to that little plastic bottle!
