[GreenYes] bikes

Hi All:  The Association of Oregon Recyclers board just last week toured the
Community Cycling Center in 
Portland.  They do a pretty incredible job of restoring bikes (by the
truckload!) for a variety of uses.  They've reduced their focus on yellow
bikes in favor of a program where they give completely outfitted commuter
bicycles to low income residents.  In addition, they provide children with
bicycles through an annual holiday bike drive.  Last year, over 600 bikes
were given away to kids in need.  For additional information, see their web
