Green Schools. The Raleigh architecture firm Innovative Design, headed by Mike Nicklaus did a whole series of schools in Jonhnston Co. NC that were daylit (and had other energy conserving devices) they then studied student performance in these schools and found it better than other schools. In addition, the Carrboro/Chapel Hill CIty Schools are in the process of constructing a new middle school that will be daylit and have multiple water cons. devices and on site storm water/irrigation system and other energy conserving aspects (I don't know about the materials part) You can contact them at: (919) 967-8211

    Hello All -
Does anyone have any information or sources concerning "green" schools and
    P2?
I'm looking particularly for info on green purchasing for schools, green
products (paints, janitorial products, etc.) and green
    building/construction.
    Thank you for your assistance.
