Retailers and pharmacy chains that have gone mercury free as of September
    2000 include:

    Rite-Aid, K-Mart, Brooks, Target, Wal-Mart, Albertson, Kinney, Toys 'R'
Us, Safety First, The First Years and Meijers.

This means that at these establishments only non-Hg thermometers, etc. are
    (supposedly) sold.

    WRR will be closed
    8-15, 29 September 2000.
There will be no e-mail and only intermittent voice mail message retrieval.
