Subject: RECYCLING ME

Bill - You were referred to me by Amy Lesser, who speaks very highly of =
you. I've elected early retirement as CEO of my own highly successful =
national brokerage company. I am seeking to use my experience, =
administrative skills and marketing talent to help create sustainable =
recycling and recycling education in Mexico.

Mexico is a beautiful country trashed. There is garbage everywhere; =
empty cigarette packs and cans and bottles and wrappers and an =
incredible accumulation of plastic bags litter the countryside. There =
are essentially no garbage cans. There is no apparent sustained effort =
to recycle. Maybe the native Mexican has been so long disenfranchised =
from the land he no longer sees its beauty, or cares. I believe that if =
the Mexican people are to again care for their land and environment, it =
may have to be through the education of the children.

That is why I am writing you. I may be good at certain things but I =
haven't the foggiest idea who may be out there with similar interests. =
Do you know of people and/or organizations already in place in Mexico, =
pursuing recycling programs or trying to create recycling education in =
the schools? Can you suggest to whom I might introduce myself? I am =
prepared to approach some international companies, such as Coca-Cola, to =
help sponsor recycling education in select regions of Mexico, but I am =
somewhat overwhelmed (due to my own ignorance) by the prospect of =
creating viable recycling programs.

If you evcen suspect you might know someone who could help me, or who =
could use my help, I would be most grateful for the suggestion or =
introduction. And if you care to forward this message to someone who =
might share my interest, even better.

Thanks for your time and patience.

Stephen Snell
