[GreenYes] Re: Carbon footprint focused on discards?

Although it's not screened specifically for waste/discards, we put together a comprehensive list of online eco-calculators several months ago that you could check.

I realize that my carbon footprint is a reflection of all of my habits; my travel, how I heat my house, what I eat, etc.

I'm looking for a more-narrowly-focused calculator; specifically on waste/discards vs recycling/reuse/compost in terms of or percentage..

I've seen 1 set of questions in a carbon calculator that asks what percentage of the following materials are recycled in your house (plastic, paper, metal, etc). But I haven't seen many other focused questions in that arena.

Thoughts on this? or suggestions?

Fun Fact: Waste Management recycled more than 5 million tons of commodities last year; preventing the release of more than 3.4 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
