[GreenYes] Re: EU adopts hierarchy, bans & targets for waste prevention & recycl

One way to reduce waste through prevention is to innovate the way we
produce things that we use on a daily basis. Eg, why can't a broom
double up as a duster? I can create handmade jewelery out of commercial
waste like copper wire and the plastic stripped out from electrical
wire. I can create boxes for my handmade jewelery that can double up as
a file and so will not be discarded. Imagine plastic bags that can be
used as an apron for kids to use during art lessons.

Where can I go to explore and expand on these ideas?
