I¹m assuming the article on plastics in the ocean being referred to in Neil¹s posts here is: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines06/1106-01.htm For what it¹s worth, we have this insane litter problem in Philadelphia and while some of it is caused by citizens and visitors, much of it is just a function of wind and weather. I¹d think that a lot of the land-based component of ocean plastic debris is similar ? that and storm drainage overflows. db -- David Biddle, Executive Director <http://www.blueolives.blogspot.com> Greater Philadelphia Commercial Recycling Council P.O.
