[GreenYes] Brownfields Discussion & upcoming conference...

After a while trying to find a DISCUSSION list similar to this one and
others in relation to issues surrounding brownfields and redevelopment, I
came up short. While I found a very good list (the Brownfields Internet
Forum hosted by it is much more like an announcements list
consisting of official announcements, news bulletins, and CFPs/RFPs, etc.
Lenny Siegel was open to having the forum go back to it's roots in
discussion -- but my experience with online communities would suggest that
it would not be so easy with a list like this, especially considering how
long it has followed this format and how technical some of the postings are.

I have thus chosen to establish a new discussion list for discussion of
topics related to brownfields, redevelopment and land reuse. It is my
hope that it will bring together people at ALL skill levels to discuss
things and educate one another, answer questions, etc.

You can find the group at
Please note it's brownfield -- singular not plural.

Thank you,

In addition, I would be curious to know if anybody from this list is
planning on attending the upcoming Brownfields 2006 conference in Boston.
