I just flew from Philadelphia to Chicago.. and while I have some
experience working with and seeing the enthusiasm of the Philadelphia
Airport Facilities folks in regards to recycling and environmental issues,
during this flight I saw very few recycling containers at all. I didn't
really pay attention when walking from the entrance, but when I got to the
gate I was flying out of I saw a standard trash container labeled with
printed sheets that said something like "AA Recycles" and that's about it,
while there were about 5 other trash containers within close proximity.

When I got to Chicago O'Hare, I saw specialized recycling containers
everywhere, infact there were more recycling receptacles than regular
trash containers. Recycling containers were bright blue one-piece well
labeled containers with a slot for paper, and a hole for bottles/cans.
