[GreenYes] Re: Closed sites

One of the concerns for closed landfills is the possibility that moisture
would breach the cap and reinvigorate the process of biological degradation
and methane generation. The application of sewage sludge appears, on its
face, to be one of the areas of potential concern.

Is it a good idea to use closed landfills for disposal of sewage sludge?
they idea piggy backing sludge on top on the closed site, I have read about
using closed msw landfills for C&D waste what about sludge, so we dont have
to built new landfills. your thoughts on this idea, would it be like
recycling land. Keith
