[GreenYes] recycling of PVC roofing

Does anyone have any experience with the recycling of PVC roofing?  A local roofing company here in Colorado is just beginning to see PVC roofs that are to the point of having to be removed and replaced.  When the product came out 20 years ago (or something like that) it was billed as being 100% recyclable and now this local roofing company is having a hard time finding a place to bring it to.  He is willing to send it back to the company in Michigan, but wanted to check for closer options first.
