A recent local project to close a landfill and replace it with a waste 
seperation plant
with anerobic digestors also suggested landfill mining. They quoted the stat 
that
(apparently) the expected copper levels, for example, and higher per ton 
than in
many ores. The copper to be found is mixed in but refined, so possibly 
easier to
get out and use than Arthur suggests?
