[GreenYes] Reusable BEER mugs?

Has anyone organized an event using reusable mugs for beer?  If so,
which beer company?  What company's mugs?

Tour de Fat (Fat Tire) is coming to Boise again.  Because we do not
have composting facilities here, we are trying to encourage organizers
to switch to a resuable mug (normally they use compostable cups).  The
beer people are worried about the mugs changing the flavor of the beer.
 So, if anyone has experience (good or bad) using reusable mugs for
beer, please let me know.
