Apologies for duplication. ******************************************************************************************************************************************** 2006 Pacific Northwest Pollution Prevention Roundtable May 24 & 25, 2006 Anchorage, Alaska For the first time since the 1990s, the Pacific Northwest Regional Pollution Prevention (P2) Roundtable will be held in Alaska! Take advantage of this rare chance to: • Learn and share info about P2 and sustainability efforts transferable to your organizations, interests, and regions. • Network with peers and with contacts outside your usual home base. • Find out "who's doing what" in and beyond the region. ROUNDTABLE AGENDA Wednesday May 24, 8am to 4pm: • All-day Tribal and Rural P2 Training Rev. Dr. Michael James Oleksa & Bill Stokes Thursday May 25, 8am to 4pm: • Innovative Projects/Partnerships Chris Wiley and Cathy Buller, Pollution Prevention Resource Center (PPRC) • Product Stewardship: Global, Local and Practical Perspectives David Stitzhal of Full Circle Environmental, Inc. • Sustainability & P2 in Higher Education Larry Foster and Allison Butler, University of Alaska, Anchorage and others Special concurrent training May 25, 8am to 4pm: Concurrent with May 25 roundtable sessions, and free of charge, Alaska Green Star and EPA Region 10 will also offer National Partnership for Environmental Priorities (NPEP) Training for businesses. On-site lodging is also available immediately adjacent to the meeting site. ROUNDTABLE COSTS Roundtable registration and on-site lodging costs are dirt cheap, freeing up funds for your transportation costs and for attendance by many people from around the region. • Roundtable registration: $75 total, attending one day or two. Includes handouts and lunch each day. • Student scholarships available, in exchange for work before or during the roundtable. • NPEP Training May 25 is free of charge, including handouts and lunch. • On-site lodging at $28-50/nt (single bed, private rm) friends, families, & extended stays welcome.
