[GreenYes] Question about grinding of C&D Waste for landfill cover

Hi Greenyes List Serv,

I am trying to find out if anyone how studied how common the practice 
below is :

grinding mixed C&D waste for use as alternative daily landfill cover

Also, what are the group's feelings on this practice.

Disclaimer - I'm looking for info to relay to the LEED Materials & 
Resources Technical Advisory Group as I'm a member and we're investigating 
this issue.
