There was no article or paper on the IDSA website about PVC at all today 
when I checked, 
howevver, there was this very interesting (& disturbing) news clip from:

Procter & Gamble (P&G) and the IDSA have joined forces to develop an 
educational collaborative, the goal of which is to expand the horizon of 
design curricula into truly interdisciplinary programs that can prepare 
students for a business environment in which the key lies in building the 
architecture of a brand.
