Dear Listserve, I am currently considering purchasing a cardboard baler for my facility. We are not a large generator of cardboard, approximately 11 metric tonnes/year so the feasibility depends on the labour cost savings. We currently have someone break-down the cardboard by hand and then transport it to the recycler every day. My question is does the cardboard have to be broken down for the baler to work well? I have asked this question to a number of sales reps and of course they say that its no problem.
