Amy, I checked out this website, which is quite informative.  However, the
association is not able to refer to markets in any particular area, because,
according to them, it would be showing favoritism.  They said that only
members were able to access this information.

Try the secondary materials and recycled textiles association (smart), they
may have some ideas. There are some companies that make oil spill
containment booms, absorbent products, wiping clothes, shoddy, and other
products from scrap textiles. There may be someone in your area who does
