RE: [greenyes] Mad Cow Disease and Our Times

I suspect the outrage is buried more in the globalizing lust for
material consumerism, of which the television is only the main corporate
colonizer of human brains--the soma for
sustainable-consciouslessness/inactivity. We should not be just
discussing recycling TVs, we should be pursuing a viable GREEN
channel/network since TV is the sedative of choice.
Just venting with Peter.

Peter Anderson writes (among other things):
Today, where, we must ask ourselves, where is the outrage?

I believe the outrage is lost in the blue glare of the television
screen,
which has dulled our senses and robbed us of both our time and will.
Perhaps needless to say, opinions expressed are my own, and do not
represent the City of Long Beach.
