I suspect the outrage is buried more in the globalizing lust for material consumerism, of which the television is only the main corporate colonizer of human brains--the soma for sustainable-consciouslessness/inactivity. We should not be just discussing recycling TVs, we should be pursuing a viable GREEN channel/network since TV is the sedative of choice. Just venting with Peter.
