You are probably already aware of this, but in case you are not, there is an educational guide called Waste in Place that contains an excellent curriculum for teaching waste management and litter concepts to students grades 1-12.  It is available via the Keep America Beautiful www.kab.org website and/or its affiliates at each state level.  The website has many other wonderful resources as well.
