[greenyes] shrink-wrapped bottles

Is the wrapping on bottles such as Arizona Iced Tea considered to be a
contaminant to the recycled materials stream? Is there a difference
between wrapped glass bottles and wrapped plastic bottles? I recall some
discussion of this years ago when the wrapped plastic bottles were first
coming onto the market, but I don't remember the specifics.
I just received a question from a resident about this, and wanted to get
more information before I respond. Interestingly (at least, to me), the
resident also asked about painted bottles such as Corona beer. After the
discussion on this list last year on just that topic, I felt like I could
give a (moderately) informed response to that portion of her question.
