A Living Machine (and Solar Aquatics Systems) is a tertiary treatment system
that still requires central collection and a settling tank. There are systems
that can be used on larger houseboats. I sell plans for build-it-yourself
systems, and get calls for floathouses, houseboats and yachts.
Urine-diverting toilets are also coming into favor for this purpose.
