Specific program areas include commercial, residential, and government waste; market development; and used motor oil recycling. Public outreach is an integral part of these programs. The Recycling Resource and Recovery Specialist implements programs and services to increase awareness and participation of recycling and waste reduction by residents and businesses. The position works under the supervision and direction of the Solid Waste Section Supervisor in cooperation with another Specialist and three Assistants.
