Hi Peter,

While the New York Times article is encouraging, please note that opponents 
of drilling in ANWR remain concerned with a vote expected later this week or 
early next week.  Who knows what will happen in these next few days, given 
the looming propsect of war.

If you oppose oil drilling in ANWR, now is a time to contact or recontact 
your senators and those few members targeted by the Republican Leadership and 
mentioned in the story today.
