I did a quick Web search just out of curiosity.  As I suspected, most
firelogs are made from forest by-products such as sawdust.  However, I was
able to find two intriguing references to firelogs made from OCC:

Wax Box Firelog Corporation (
Mood Maker Firelogs

I don't know anything about these companies but I would encourage anyone who
does to share their knowledge with this list.

One further recommendation I would make is that you contact organizations /
agencies active in promoting bioenergy to see what they know.
