[GreenYes] Battery Recycling

Better call your Home Depot and check before you save up your batteries and take them there. HD in Idaho will only 'take-back!' batteries that are supported by their manufacturers. As a result, they will only accept DeWalt batteries (i.e. power tool batteries).
Does your community have a Household Hazardous Waste facility/program? If so, they will take all of your batteries - any size and any type - usually at no cost to you. Call your local solid waste office.

Does anyone know if any places or stores still take and recycle
batteries
(A, AA, AAA, etc)?
