[GreenYes] Recycling at Music Festivals
- Subject: [GreenYes] Recycling at Music Festivals

In June there is going to be a 4-day music festival on a 500 acre farm in
Manchester, Tennessee. I would like to help the promoters of this festival
incorporate recycling into their planning. Does anyone on this list have any
experience with setting up a recycling program that would exist for only 4
days. Apparently, Manchester is not near any major cities. I am afraid that
the logistics may be very difficult, but there have been 60,000 tickets sold
for this festival already and over 4 days, that's a lot of recyclables that
could be recycled instead of landfilled. For more information on the
festival, their web site is http://www.bonnaroo.com.
Peace,
Ben Randolph
