[GreenYes] List Housekeeping Items
Hello list members,

Below are a list of several housekeeping items,
some of which may pertain to you. Please read all.

I would like to ask once again that list members
please do not attach anything to their posts. Word
documents can pose a virus threat. Many
newer computers will directly open the word file
from our website archive, bypassing the normal virus scanning
capabilities of some software and infecting other's
machines if you inadvertently post an infected file.
Plus, after I manually remove the attachment
from our archive, all we have left is
a record with the subject 'NM Recycling Conference'
and 'FYI' in the body. Not very helpful for folks
doing a search of our archives, eh? It helps greatly
if you post your information as text in the body of
the email and not as an attachment.

Be sure to read our posting policies
at http://greenyes.grrn.org/netiquette.html
if you have any questions, and thanks for posting.

Remember that recycling conferences may also be added to
our web calendar at this url:
http://www.grrn.org/calendar/indexResponse.php
If you have anything for June, now is a good time
to place it on our Calendar for others to view.
(It does get plenty of views, even though nothing
has been posted for May, so please consider it!)

Note that there is now a simple web interface
for subscribing and unsubscribing to the GreenYes
list and digest available at this url:
http://www.grrn.org/sub_scribe/index.php

There have been several yahoo subscribers who
have bounced because their mailboxes are
full. If you are wondering why, it's because Yahoo
is now charging for it's pop3 service (where it
goes to outlook, outlook express or netscape mail.
You may have noticed a drop in spams coming from
Yahoo for this very reason.)
If you have a Yahoo account, please feel free to
empty it and unsubscribe if you no longer plan
to use it with this list. It would help greatly.
